Justina Grubb Has Been Named as the 2019 Chase Rubin Scholarship Recipient

July 13, 2019 /MarketersMedia/ —
One of the major challenges of obtaining a college education is the cost of tuition. Many students are simply priced out of higher education because they cannot afford the books, fees, housing, and tuition costs. Financial aid in the form of grants and scholarships are instrumental for these students.
The Chase Rubin Foundation has developed a long running scholarship program to help students offset the cost of their college education. Current high school students and college students who have not reached their senior year are eligible to apply for the Chase Rubin Scholarship. Applicants must submit their application prior to the late summer deadline and complete a 500-word essay to be eligible for consideration for the $1,200 scholarship opportunity.
This year's essay posed the question “How do you think young adults benefit from furthering their education?” Justina Grubb, a master’s degree student at Brigham Young University, cited trust, integrity, and self-worth as major benefits for young adults who pursue higher education. Ms. Grubb further explained her examples from a female perspective and eloquently described her personal experiences as they relate to college and career opportunities.
The Chase Rubin Foundation wishes to thank all applicants for their wonderful and heartfelt submissions. Choosing one winner out of the many qualified applicants was not an easy process. Applicants are welcome to apply for the 2020 scholarship opportunity. Details are available online.
