With the new platform, parents and teachers can arrange assignments, timed reading sessions. Integrated vocabulary assessment allows the app to provide individually tailored reading suggestions, targeting a child’s ideal reading level.
Reading is one of the most important skills a child can learn, giving them the tools to help them in almost all aspects of their future. However, finding the best ways to teach and engage a child can be challenging, especially as every child is unique and absorbs language at their own pace. WholeReader’s immersive reading program offers an engaging and customizable solution to this problem by engaging both eye and ear at an individually tailored reading level.
By implementing a synchronized audio-visual experience, the reading software engages a child’s eyes and ears in order to hold their attention while naturally boosting their vocabulary and comprehension. Additionally, the program automatically optimizes itself, ensuring children are continually reading books that include new words and challenging materials for long-term improvements.
To ensure students are able to access the reading program, WholeReader can be used both online and offline, with browser and app options available. All of a user’s data is synchronized across all platforms, allowing students to easily pick up where they left off on any device.
WholeReader’s library of human narrated books covers the entire reading curriculum, ranging from K-12 through to Ivy League levels. Furthermore, the available texts include classic fiction novels, historical non-fiction, and informative science books, giving children a wide selection of choices for reading.
Parents and teachers looking to get started with the program can receive a free trial of the software with monthly or annual membership options available depending on their needs. Each tier level offers complete access to the system, with a five-student family option available for a reduced price.
A young student of the platform said, “I am learning many new words every day, which I would never have been able to do while learning English at school.”
