Vital Options International Announce Strategic Family Caregiver Initiative

Digital Health Technology, Caregiver Resiliency Training and Ongoing Support to Global Family Caregivers.

Flemington – January 18, 2022 – Vital Options International today announced the formation of their global strategic initiative to provide resiliency training and ongoing support through digital health solutions to family caregivers around the world.  

To better understand the impact of family caregiver stress and burnout, Vital Options International conducted a recent global study with over 900 family caregivers participating. In addition to identifying the cause and impact of stress on the family caregiver, our research examined the impact on employers, insurance companies, and the healthcare system in general. Among other stress factors, our research also showed that demographic indicators such as age, race, gender, and geographical location significantly contributed to the impact on family caregivers and overall health outcomes in underserved communities.

Given the magnitude of stress and burnout the family caregiver experiences over time, Vital Options International, in collaboration with The Caregiving Years Training Academy and Advocate for Mom and Dad LLC, will provide family caregivers with an integrated caregiving solution. Comprised of a comprehensive set of educational tools, the Vital Family Caregiver solution will deliver a proven, results-based resiliency training curriculum and digital health platform for ongoing support and advanced resiliency training to family caregivers.

The combined solution is designed to address the underlying way family caregivers process and contain the stress and burnout they encounter. In addition, our solution will increase their confidence in decision making, minimize the overwhelm from difficult emotions and create more time in the day for themselves with purposeful plans. Through our global network of patients and family caregivers, the training curriculum and family caregiver certification will allow family caregivers at all levels to create lasting resiliency in the face of unremitting stress and burnout.
