Aug 16, 2022
LOS ANGELES - August 16, 2022 - (Newswire.com)
VirtoSoftware presents the latest update of the Virto Gantt Chart App for Office 365.
The improved Gantt Chart App includes:
- Supports fully-customized create/edit task forms
- Provides auto-schedule option
- Allows users to save a chart to PDF
- Designed for Modern sites
Task management efficiency has a direct impact on how informative and clear the data is. Tasks and assignees, order and structure, deadlines, and milestones are better perceived when represented visually. Gantt Chart is a traditional task/project management tool created to visualize tasks better.
VirtoSoftware designed Gantt Chart App to meet the well-known logic of task management and apply it to Office 365. Virto Gantt Chart takes data from a custom SharePoint list and generates the tasks tree view. The only required condition is to set the start and end date for each task in the source list.
Virto Gantt Chart App allows users to see the structure of complex tasks in parent-child relations, track and change tasks' order or specify predecessors, add milestones or change use drag and drop to change task duration and percent complete. A flexible color-coding feature is also on the list. Since Virto Gantt Chart supports using multiple SharePoint lists in a single view, color-coding can be applied to distinguish data sources, as well as change colors for tasks, milestones, and percent completion show. The chart is easily scalable, users just need to choose the right timescale appropriate for the case.
Customized Create/Edit Task Forms
Users may choose which information they need to see in the task form. For example, it is possible to leave only the task name and deadline on the form. Or the full list of fields with description, resources, predecessors, and timeline is preferable. Users decide.
Auto-Schedule Option
When users apply parent-child relations, it would be great to have the possibility of changing child tasks according to the parent task. For example, when someone reschedules the parent task, the deadlines of child tasks change too. To provide this, the Virto Gantt Chart app offers the auto-schedule option.
Save to PDF
The app also supports saving charts in PDF format. This simple option may be required when users need to send the chart via email or attach the chart details somewhere else in SharePoint or any other place.

Burnham’s Britain can learn from Trump in engaging with China
Getting relations with China right is widely seen as Britain’s epoch-defining challenge. It is also one it is woefully unprepared to face. So concluded a recent audit by the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China (IPAC), which highlighted that top negotiators lacked basic Chinese language skills. More critically, it exposed a deeper deficit: a poor grasp of China spanning political elites and the public alike. This is rooted in a desk-bound classroom sinology rather than a nuanced appreciation...
