There are a number of benefits to installing a dash cam in the car, truck or work vehicle. For example, in the heat of the moment, it can be easy to forget details when witnessing or experiencing an accident.
However, with a dash cam installed, exact facts and answers to key questions can be provided in order to settle any dispute claims. Many insurance policies already accept dash cam evidence in the event of an accident, as awareness and acceptance of the devices is on the rise around the world.
One of the key benefits of the new 1080p dash camera from Counter Assault Tech is that it has a motion detection function. This means that even if the car is stationary or parked, if someone bumps the car or scratches it, the camera can pick them up.
This provides drivers with an added layer of security and peace of mind, because they know the camera can capture the evidence that they might miss while away.
Counter Assault Tech states: “It doesn’t help when you have a camera that records with a grainy and blurry image. The HD Dash Camera has a high performance HD chip so the video and picture quality are very clear. The camera has 170° viewing angle and can be operated by the internal battery which will last about 2 days on parking mode.”
While the car is running, the camera can be charged through the cigarette lighter. It has a built in microphone and records audio clearly. It also features a suction cup mount for the windshield.
