New Author Michael Patrick Higgins is launching the brand new book, “Unsettling Bedtime Stories to Read to Rude and Ungrateful Children”. The book is set to go live 7/5/17, available Amazon and is expected to become a big hit with fans of the Children’s bedtime stories world.
More information on the book can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1547228849/
This is the first book Higgins has authored. The book was written with the aim in mind to to let parents choose the bedtime story their kids need to hear. There’s also particular excitement about this launch because this book is an interesting twist on the bedtime story genre and provided morals to every story, but maybe not the ones in traditional children’s books.
Unsettling Bedtime Stories to Read to Rude and Ungrateful Children sets its main focus on stories for adults who are tired of making bedtime fun for only their kids. Readers will likely find a particular interest in the fact that their kids pick the bedtime story they want to have read to them every night. Why can’t the parents pick the book for a change?
This book came about when the author felt kids books needed a different viewpoint.
When asked about why he wrote the book, Higgins said: “I wanted to make a children’s book that adults might find some humor in reading.”
Higgins has hopes that the book will hopefully provide some laughs at bedtime for both parents and children. This positive outlook from the author is certainly testament to his optimism considering some of the mishaps during its creation. He didn’t want to make the stories scary as kids up all night worrying would defeat the whole purpose, but wanted to write something unique that kids would love.
In a recent interview, the author made a point of thanking all the parents of the world for their part in the creation of the book.
