Garland, United States - August 19, 2017 /PressCable/ —
Texas CPR Training, a Dallas Fort Worth based company offering CPR training and other forms of CPR and BLS certification, announced today that it is offering free adult “hands-only” CPR training classes at its Garland location. The company also will travel to teach group hands-only CPR in the Dallas Fort Worth area for a small travel fee.
Jennie Khonsari, founder of Texas CPR Training, said, “Hands-only CPR was developed to educate people, those without emergency training, to focus on chest compressions only instead of attempting rescue breathing. By being able to focus primarily on chest compressions, it could be more effective than conventional CPR training due to it being easier and requiring less steps to remember in an emergency situation.”
Khonsari continued, “Since most adults in the Dallas Fort Worth area who have received CPR training were educated in the conventional manner, our company believed that offering free hands-only training classes each Tuesday would be a valuable way to educate the residents of DFW on this alternative CPR approach.”
She indicated that the free hands-only training classes are for those not requiring certification. CPR certification classes take place at other times and will require a fee.
Khonsari referenced two articles as to why it was developed and its effectiveness when compared to traditional CPR:

According to the website, the company offers several CPR training and certification classes besides the free, Tuesday hands-only classes. These include American Heart BLS for Healthcare Providers, adult and pediatric CPR, American Heart Heartsaver® CPR/AED, American Heart Heartsaver®, Pediatric First Aid and CPR, and several other related courses. Group classes and training are available for organizations, corporations, municipal departments, schools and others requiring CPR and first aid education. Groups have been served in the DFW region including Addison, Allen, Arlington, Carrollton, Denton, Frisco, Highland Park, Irving, Lewisville, McKinney, Mesquite, Plano, Southlake and other communities in North Texas.
Interested parties may register for the free hands-only CPR classes through the company’s website and phone number listed with this release. Media interested in interviewing Khonsari on topics pertaining to CPR and first aid, may reach her through the same means.
