Speednite has just launched a Kicstarter campaign for their motion-controlled lighting stem for bikers.
Specs
Speednite has two parts: one that mounts in-between the handle bars on a bicycle and a motion sensor that attaches to the top of the user’s helmet. The motion sensor syncs with the light on the bike to allow users to turn their head and have their line of sight illuminated. When users look right or left while riding, a red LED light will illuminate the ground beneath them, indicating to drivers and other riders what direction they plan to turn.
Pricing and Availability
Speednite has partnered with Funded Today, hoping to bring in more pledges for their campaign. If the goal is met, the product is set to be shipped out to all backers by November 2017. The stating price for one Speednite is $155.
