Skyline School earns Charlotte’s Best Gold for Best Vocational School, adding to its 2026 BusinessRate recognition in Concord, North Carolina.
Concord, North Carolina, United States, October 29, 2026 -- Skyline School is pleased to announce it has won Gold for Best Vocational School in the 2026 Charlotte’s Best competition. Based in Concord and serving learners throughout North Carolina, the school provides real estate education and general contractor continuing education.
Charlotte’s Best drew more than 6,900 businesses, organizations and individuals across 246 categories, with more than 757,000 votes cast overall. Gold is the highest award level in the competition.
“People give us time out of their workday and trust us with an important part of their professional education,” states Dr. Michael Walker, Education Director of Skyline School. “We take that seriously. Winning Gold for Best Vocational School is an honor, and we’re especially grateful to the students who voted for Skyline and recommended us to others. Our goal is to make every class useful, engaging, and worth the time students spend with us.”
Earlier this year, BusinessRate recognized Skyline as the No. 1 Trade School in Concord, North Carolina, based on Google review performance. Skyline announced that recognition in May 2026. BusinessRate compares businesses within their category and local market, giving the recognition a different basis from the Charlotte’s Best vote.
Since beginning operations in December 2019, Skyline has expanded its course offerings and learning formats to serve professionals across the state. Its students may be preparing for an exam, completing post-licensing education or returning for continuing education as their careers progress. Those changing needs have shaped a catalog that allows learners to study with the same provider at several stages of their professional development.
North Carolina real estate continuing education offerings include General Update (GENUP), Broker-in-Charge Update (BICUP) and CE electives. Instruction addresses subjects professionals encounter in their work, including agency relationships, disclosure, material facts and property management. Skyline also offers real estate post-licensing courses and exam preparation, alongside continuing education for general contractors. General contractor electives cover subjects such as construction safety and building automation.
Self-paced and live online formats are available, depending on the course. Scheduling flexibility allows students to work through eligible material around professional commitments or attend scheduled instruction online. Post 301 covers broker relationships and responsibilities, while Post 302 addresses contracts and closing. For these two self-paced courses, Skyline provides unlimited final examination attempts within the 180-day course access period.
Skyline credits students who voted, shared reviews and recommended its courses with helping build the school’s community connections. Course descriptions, available formats and a demonstration of the learning platform are available at www.skylineschool.net.
