Pertaining to his academic background, Dr. Schwartz graduated from Penn State University and then Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2013. In addition, he did his postdoctoral training at the prestigious Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York in 2014. He received extensive advanced training in all disciplines of dentistry, including cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, implant dentistry, oral surgery, root canal therapy, and crowns and bridges.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
Outside of practicing dentistry, Dr. Schwartz enjoys playing various sports, traveling around the globe with his wife, exploring new types of delicious foods, listening to and playing music, as well as playing with his son, Lucas. His favorite place to vacation in Australia.
