Get to know Neurosurgeon Dr. Saeed Sam Sadrameli, who serves patients in Kissimmee, Florida.

New York City, New York Dec 29, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Dr. Sadrameli is a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon specializing in minimally invasive and complex spine surgery. He is a part of the team of professionals at Orlando Neurosurgery, treating adults out of the office at AdventHealth Celebration Hospital in Kissimmee, Florida.

His areas of special interest include ultra-minimally invasive endoscopic spine surgery, robotic spine surgery, cervical disc replacement, minimally invasive tubular decompression, and enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS). He offers patient-specific solutions for sciatica, neck, and back pain ranging from non-operative treatments to more sophisticated surgical procedures. Dr. Sadrameli believes that the most minimally invasive surgery is no surgery and is often able to provide ultra-minimally invasive endoscopic solutions to avoid a spinal fusion.

While working as an engineer, Dr. Sadrameli became interested in medicine. He found his engineering world to be lacking in personal connections and began volunteer work at a hospital, where he found his passion in the challenging yet rewarding world of medicine. That inspired him to return to Florida and pursue his medical training.

After completing his Bachelor's and Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering, he received his medical training from the University of Florida College of Medicine. While in school, he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and served as its president. He also served as the president of the Surgical Subspecialty Interest Group. He subsequently went on to complete his residency in neurosurgery at the Houston Methodist Neurological Institute, where he also received fellowship training at the Texas Medical Center with a focus on spinal endoscopy as well as spinal oncology at the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Passionate about his profession, Dr. Sadrameli is board-eligible in neurosurgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Dr. Sadrameli's practice aims to utilize state-of-the-art technology as well as modern surgical techniques to offer the least invasive solution to address the patient's symptoms while maximizing the longevity of the spine by avoiding spinal instrumentation when possible.

In order to stay up to date in his field, Dr. Sadrameli remains an active member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, and the International Society for Advancement of Spine Surgery.

Neurosurgery is the medical specialty concerned with the prevention, diagnosis, surgical treatment, and rehabilitation of disorders that affect any portion of the nervous system including the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and extra-cranial cerebrovascular system. Neurosurgeons are doctors who diagnose and treat problems with the nervous system, often by performing surgery on the brain or spine. They treat strokes, tumors, certain types of birth defects, infections, and head or spinal cord injuries.

Combining his expertise in engineering with his passion for surgery and caring for people, Dr. Sadrameli was drawn toward the specialty of neurosurgery. He has published over 25 manuscripts in the field of minimally invasive spine surgery and sports-related injury. He has presented his research at multiple regional and national conferences.

Dr. Sadrameli is an avid soccer fan and played soccer for the University of Florida during his undergraduate and graduate training. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer with his sons, and traveling. He speaks English and Farsi.
