He is a Fellow of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, and the International Society of University Colon and Rectal Surgeons - where he holds several board positions. He is also a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
