Cicero ,United States - October 18, 2022 /PressCable/ —
The new educational-themed crate is called The Crafty Crate, and it has been carefully designed and curated to encourage girls between the ages of 5 and 11 to tap into their inner creativity and bring exciting visions and projects to life. With their new craft activity crate, GirlCratery is proud to be bringing young girls across the US more hands-on learning opportunities that are fun and jam-packed with new experiences.

The launch of a new subscription service for surprise, themed home project boxes for girls coincides with a wealth of recent research on the way that society parents and raises girls. As a recent exposé by ABC News revealed, the way girls are raised, and have traditionally been raised, often robs them of their self-confidence and belief in themselves, and encourages them to be more cautious and risk averse.
However, as ABC News’ collective of journalists and researchers advised, micro-moments between parents and children in the home can have an immense impact on encouraging girls to be more bold, creative, independent and confident.
GirlCratery believes similarly, and they have drawn on an array of parenting literature in the construction of their diverse educational crates. As such, they are confident that their crates can help girls to become all of these wonderful things by encouraging them to try new things and discover new skills.
In particular, their newest crate, The Crafty Crate, contains an array of unique projects like a sewing sock bunny project, a fox needlepoint, a pom project, scratch art pads, and a comprehensive arts and crafts kit with items like feathers, clay and buttons.
GirlCratery is a New York-based subscription service that ships their crates across America directly to their customers’ doors. In addition to The Crafty Crate, they have baking-themed crates, jewelry-making crates, science crates, and more.
A spokesperson for the girl empowerment organization said, “The Crafty Crate is designed for those kids who love to use their creativity and make awesome projects! This crate is filled with projects that teach new skills like sewing, as well as projects that encourage girls to use their imaginations to create one-of-a-kind masterpieces!”
