Luminous Medical Aesthetics Offers Customized, Cosmetic Care
Jul 6, 2023
July 06, 2023 - /PressAdvantage/ - Denver, NC — Advanced Family Eye Care has announced the opening of their medical spa, Luminous Medical Aesthetics, which will provide patients with complete cosmetic care. Fully equipped with state-of-the art technology, such as intense pulsed light (IPL), Luminous is able to provide advanced skin care services through non-invasive treatments. The spa also offers highly requested skincare treatments like HydraFacial®, injectables, and other customizable services, for patients seeking to “lighten, brighten, and tighten” their skin.
“No matter what service we’re providing a patient with, our mission is to always take a multi-faceted approach that accounts for patients’ unique wants and needs,” said Dr. Amanda Barker-Assell, who oversees the aesthetic services at Luminous. “There’s a lot of value that’s gained from customized treatment, and that’s exactly what we provide here at Luminous. We’ve seen how healthier, glowing skin can improve a patient’s self-image and quality of life, and we’re excited to be a long-term partner to our community and build off of Advanced Family Eye Care’s committed relationships!”
Some of the technology and services offered by Luminous include the Icon® by Cynosure IPL; HydraFacial®; oxygen facials; neurotoxins including XEOMIN® and BOTOX® Cosmetic; Potenza™ radiofrequency (RF) microneedling; PRX-Derm Perfexion; among others.
Before starting treatment, patients will begin with a consultation with their provider that assesses their skin’s health, tone, texture, and firmness. Many services are multi-use, such as IPL photofacials, which treats pigmentation and also has anti-aging benefits. Likewise, RF microneedling treats scarring while also using the body’s natural, regenerative healing process to make the skin more resilient. This type of dual-action care is a hallmark at Luminous, where treatments are chosen based on efficacy and long-term effects.
“I’m so ready to help more people get beautiful skin,” said aesthetician, Kimmi Tellier. “We’re here to do it all, whether that’s helping a patient prep for an event, or just creating a daily skincare regimen for them. A lot of our services are non-invasive, and all our comprehensive routines and high-tech procedures are tailored to each individual patient. I love working with a team that’s so focused on preventative care. Getting to know our patients and their skin enable us to provide them with the best results and ongoing care, and we think everyone who comes to Luminous will really appreciate that.”
“We have such a wide range of non-invasive options for patients,” added Dr. Barker-Assell. “There’s so much incredible technology available these days, and it’s amazing how you can slow down the aging process using devices and techniques that treat the skin at a deeper level. Our goal at Luminous is to help patients enhance their natural beauty so that they can feel confident in their skin, and we all can’t wait for patients to see for themselves what’s truly possible.”
Luminous Medical Aesthetics is open and taking appointments for new and existing patients. They are located alongside the Advanced Family Eye Care practice in Denver, NC, at 7547 Waterside Loop Rd, Ste B.
