LIB Industry Launches Environmental Temperature Chamber with RF Shielding for 6G Wireless Device Testing in Heat and Cold
Nov 4, 2026
Xi'An, Shaanxi, China, November 4, 2026 -- LIB Industry, a excellent manufacturer of environmental test chambers, has launches the RFT-80B Environmental Temperature Chamber with RF Shielding. The equipment combines a radio-quiet shield box and a rapid-change temperature chamber in one compact system, so engineers can test Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular and other wireless devices in heat and cold without interference from outside signals.
Why Wireless Devices Need This Kind of Environmental Temperature and RF Shielding Test
As 5G evolves toward 6G, engineers need to test next-generation wireless devices under controlled temperature and RF conditions. Heat and cold can affect antenna performance, signal transmission and communication stability, while external RF signals may interfere with test results.
The LIB Industry RFT-80B combines temperature control and RF shielding in one system, helping engineers test 5G/6G communication modules, antennas, smartphones and other wireless devices with reduced external signal interference.
How the Environmental Temperature Chamber with RF Shielding Works
The workroom is built as a shielded space lined with wave-absorbing foam. According to LIB Industry, isolation is above 75 dB across 1 to 6 GHz, and it has been tested at 2.4 GHz, 2.49 GHz and 5.945 GHz. In simple terms, outside signals stay out and the signals of the device under test stay in.
The test chamber holds a temperature range of -40 °C to +100 °C. Heating averages 3 °C per minute and cooling averages 1 °C per minute (empty load). Temperature fluctuation is within ±0.5 °C and uniformity is within ±2.0 °C. A rear-mounted centrifugal fan moves air from the top to the bottom of the workspace, so the whole test chamber is heated or cooled evenly.
1.Connections for Live Testing
Devices can be powered and monitored while the test is running. The test chamber includes:
- 8 SMA connectors for antennas and RF cables
- 3 DB25 and 1 DB9 connectors for signal lines
- 1 USB 3.0 port and 1 Ethernet port for data and control
- 6 filtered red and black terminals for power
2.Easy Operation and Data Export
A 7-inch color touchscreen lets users set a fixed temperature or build a multi-step program. Temperature and run time are shown in real time. Test data can be exported as a CSV file to a USB drive with one click, or accessed from a PC through Ethernet. The test chamber stores up to 365 days of history. An independent emergency stop button is built in for safety.
3.Built for Daily Laboratory Use
The exterior is made of coated A3 steel. The walls contain 10 cm of polyurethane foam and insulation cotton to keep the temperature stable and reduce noise. A double-layer silicone door seal, an observation window and interior lighting allow users to check samples without opening the door. Four brake-equipped swivel castors and adjustable feet make the unit easy to move and level.
4.Typical Applications
- Consumer electronics: phones, tablets, earbuds, smart watches and smart glasses, tested for signal strength and connection stability from -40 °C to +100 °C.
- Networking: routers and Wi-Fi devices, tested for speed and stability on 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands.
- Smart home: speakers, cameras, sensors and trackers, tested for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection in hot and cold conditions.
- Automotive electronics: key fobs and telematics units, tested for wireless function as temperature rises and falls.
Customer Use
The RFT-80B is used by Meta, Amazon, Apple and Renesas Semiconductor Design Israel Ltd., among other companies.
Customization
LIB Industry says the size, ports and temperature range of the test chamber can be adjusted for specific test needs. Interested customers can contact the company to discuss custom options.
