Raleigh, North Carolina Apr 25, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - https://youtu.be/nZpQyxvs4Uk
Jayden Amir Watkins is a published author, motivational speaker, producer, playwright, visionary, and podcast host. Recently he celebrated 3 years as the founder, host, and producer of The Preferable Podcast making him the youngest long-running podcast host of all time on all major podcasting platforms in the category of Religion & Spirituality.
Jayden Watkins shared that he started The Preferable Podcast "in March 2020 to help the young and the old use their God-given talent/gifts to build beloved communities". When he was asked "What challenges have you faced hosting your podcast?" He responded by saying "Some of the challenges I have experienced was having trouble getting people to not judge me because of my age but focus on the message that I am delivering to help heal our broken world. My wisdom does not come by age, my wisdom comes through experience. Another challenge that I have experienced hosting and producing my podcast for the past three years is paying different costs to record and edit the video version of my podcast. I have had days when I wanted to stop hosting my podcast because the files would not upload to the different platforms correctly."
When Jayden was asked "How did you persevere through those challenges? Why didn't you give up?" he replied "Giving up is not an option. I know Jesus Christ called me to host and produce The Preferable Podcast for a purpose. I have not and I will not allow any challenge to stop me from obeying Jesus Christ. I didn't give up and still will not give up because I know my worth, I know the purpose of my podcast and I know the impact that both myself and my podcast have had and will continue to have".
Recently, Jayden Watkins's podcast went INTERNATIONAL due to its feature of guests outside of the United States and listeners in Canada, Ireland, and Puerto Rico. At just 15 years old, Jayden Watkins has not created any ordinary podcast, he has created an internationally diverse platform that breaks chains and sparks change. Some of the most notable interviews on his podcast have been with Grammy-nominated singer Kim Burrell, the youngest black law school graduate, Haley Taylor Schlitz, a member of the family of civil rights icon Emmit Till, Amberly Carter, and 9/11 survivor Joe Torrillo.
Jayden was asked, "What makes your podcast different and what legacy do you hope your podcast will have?" he responded by saying "My podcast is very unique. Besides being the host at 15 years old in 2023, my podcast has a very diverse audience. Teens my age to senior adults listen to my podcast. I was at the library one day and a woman around 75 years old shared with me that she sometimes struggles to go to sleep but listening to my podcast helps her fall asleep. Things such as that motivate me to keep doing positive things such as hosting my podcast. I hope that my podcast will motivate people no matter their age or race to live according to their God-given purpose and maximize their potential. I want my podcast to inspire people to not only dream again, not only believe again but to live again while hoping that more leaders will arise."
The Preferable Podcast is available to watch on Jayden Watkins's YouTube Channel. The Preferable Podcast is also available to listen to on Spotify, I-Heart Radio, Apple Podcasts, Audible, and any other major podcasting platform.
