After a year of opening up its first overseas office in Silicon Valley in the United States, Umang Software Technologies has yet achieved another milestone of setting up its second international office in Melbourne, Australia.
Melbourne, Australia May 3, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - UMANG SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD is an IT company headquartered in Goa, India. This software company focuses on foreign IT contracts and has received many industry awards including the national level award as the 'Customer-Centric Company of the Year' from ASSOCHAM and GCCI in 2016. UMANG is also one of the first companies from Goa to be part of NASSCOM - India's largest technology trade association and advocacy group.
Mangirish Salelkar started this company in a small office in 2009, along with his Co-founder and wife Uma Talaulikar. The word 'UMANG' beautifully derives from this husband and wife duo, UMA and MANGIRISH, which means 'ENTHUSIASM'.
Oscar Rodrigues, the VP of Business Development says that "We already have clients in Australia. It's been a great experience to work with these elite organizations who understand processes, trust Indian programmers and value the efforts. We're quite excited to launch our new office in Melbourne. It's an important part of our long-term plan to grow our clientele in Australia."
UMANG has worked on numerous projects in its 12 years of journey. They deal in IT projects from Healthcare, Logistics, Marine, Pharmaceutical, Construction, and many others. They're best known for their expertise in Desktop, Web, and Mobile Application development. Delphi has been one of the key technology where UMANG has worked on numerous projects and has an excellent portfolio. Their years of experience, also bring in the expertise from their huge technology stack such as Python, Java, React Native, PHP, and various databases and tools.
On setting up an office in Melbourne, Mangirish said "UMANG has served clients in more than 15 countries in the last 12 years. Last year we opened an office in Silicon Valley, California which was a great move considering the presence of our existing clients and the inquiries we receive there. We've been working with Australian clients for over 8 years, and trust and confidence have been the major factor in the success of our business relationship with them. Having our station in Melbourne would surely help us build even stronger relationships with our clients."
Melbourne is promoting itself as a global city, and many IT companies including UMANG are trying to grab the IT opportunities that Melbourne has to offer. The company chose to set up its office in Melbourne because the region has proved to drastically soar on the grounds of IT with the upcoming of many specialized companies in the IT sector. The opening of the office in Melbourne has also brought UMANG closer to their clients in Melbourne and Queensland from Healthcare Tech and Steel Construction domain.
"Over the years, we've had the opportunity to be trusted partners to some of the reputed organizations worldwide, mainly because we have a good balance of mixed technologies. As we expand our presence to widen the client base, we're also focusing on expanding our team size. Last year, we opened our second development center which we expect to be full in the coming few months. We're also looking at building a team in data science, as that's where we wish to have our next focus." said Chief Technology Officer, Poonam Narvekar.
UMANG is going strong towards its goal of serving clients globally, as it has been doing all these years. It's only a matter of time before we see the next base opened in Europe.
