Hawaii Island Recovery proudly announces the relaunch of their website. The new website has a fresh look and feel and is easy to navigate. Furthermore, it is straightforward and showcases more of the treatment options found at the facility, such as dolphin therapy. The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse reports approximately $500 billion is spent each year by local, state and federal governments for addiction and substance abuse, yet only two cents of every dollar goes to prevention and treatment. For this reason, individuals need to ensure they choose the right treatment for the addict to ensure the best results.

"Every individual is unique, thus there isn't a single treatment that can be used for every addict. Our Kona rehab facility makes use of a variety of treatment methods, including holistic health services and equine therapy, to meet the needs of more patients. The new website allows potential patients and their loved ones to learn more about these treatments and their benefits," Jan Seifert, spokesperson for Hawaii Island Recovery (Hawaiianrecovery.com), announces.

Addiction is a complex disease, and medical professionals continue to learn more about it every day. New ways are constantly being found to prevent and treat the disease, with the hopes of eventually ending it. As a result, new treatment methods are being developed every day, yet many addicts and their loved ones aren't aware of the options available to them.

"Finding information on various treatment methods can be difficult. When an addict and his or her family are in crisis, they need the information to be easily found. For this reason, Hawaii Island Recovery opted to redo the website to make it easy to navigate and find the desired material. Time is of the essence when a person is suffering from addiction, as the next fix can be deadly to the addict or someone else. Visit our site to obtain valuable information in a timely manner," Seifert recommends.

Comparing hawaii rehab centers can be difficult. One benefit of choosing a treatment center that makes use of multiple modalities is the patient can get the specific help they need, whether it be one type of therapy or a combination of methods. The care needs to be personalized and the interventions cutting edge for the best chance of success.

"Treating an addiction requires a holistic approach. The treatment must address the mind, the body and the spirit. Hawaii Island Recovery makes use of traditional and new methods, including yoga and massage, to help patients. Learn more about the many options available to those who choose to recover with us. Our website makes it easy to learn more about our program and all it has to offer. Be sure to check it out today," Seifert states.

Lee reaffirms commitment to establishing peace regime on Korean Peninsula

President Lee Jae Myung on Friday reiterated his commitment to replacing the armistice that suspended the 1950-53 Korean War with a permanent peace regime. The president made the remarks in a speech at a ceremony at the National Assembly commemorating the Pyongyang Joint Declaration, signed on Sept 19, 2018 by then President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un following their summit in Pyongyang. The speech was read on his behalf by Kim Kyoung-soo, Lee's special aide for political affairs. The 2018 declaration affirmed the two Koreas' determination to end military hostility across their border and to boost cooperation. Lee said that despite the declaration, inter-Korean dialogue and cooperation have ceased while tensions have risen, highlighting North Korea's rapid advancement of its nuclear weapons capabilities in the meantime. Now, South Korea is witnessing signs of hope for the resumption of dialogue between North Korea and the United States, the president noted, pledging to help expedite its resumption and efforts to have it develop into dialogue for a peace regime on the

ASEAN-Korea Centre opens 3rd ASEAN Hall in Jeonju

The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) opened the Jeonju ASEAN Hall on Thursday at the Korea Traditional Culture Center in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, adding a third venue to its network after Seoul and Jeju. The hall is the first space dedicated to ASEAN-Korea cultural exchange in Korea’s southwest region. The AKC said Jeonju's location between Seoul and Jeju positions the new hall to carry Southeast Asian culture and arts beyond the capital area and described it as a "cultural diplomacy platform" where Korean and ASEAN cultures meet in one of the country's leading cities of traditional culture. "The AKC will continue to present engaging exhibitions and diverse programs so that the Jeonju ASEAN Hall can establish itself as an important venue for cultural exchange between Korea and ASEAN and make ASEAN culture more accessible to more citizens," AKC Secretary General Kim Jae-shin said at the opening ceremony. Speaking on behalf of the Philippines, this year's ASEAN chair, Philippine Ambassador to Korea Bernadette Therese Fernandez said the hall will serve as a cultural and educational space f
