Detroit Lions: Dan Campbell gives update on Aidan Hutchinson
Dec 17, 2022
Auburn Hills, Michigan Dec 16, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Detroit Lions' Head Coach, Dan Campbell, announced today that defensive end Aidan Hutchinson has returned to practice after missing Thursday's session due to illness.
The Lions will face off against the New York Jets this Sunday at MetLife Stadium in a crucial matchup that could determine their playoff hopes. A win for the Lions would bring their record to 7-7 and increase their chances of making the playoffs to approximately 40%.
Hutchinson, who has been a key player on the defensive side of the ball, has shown improvement throughout the season and has played a significant role in the Lions' defense looking stronger than it did earlier in the year.
The Lions will need all hands on deck to secure a victory against the Jets, and the return of Hutchinson to practice is a positive step toward achieving that goal.
