Charlotte, NC, United States - December 23, 2022 —
Top facial plastic surgeon Dr. Jonathan Kulbersh is pleased to announce the arrival of the revolutionary injectable treatment Daxxify to Carolina Facial Plastics in Spring 2023.
The team of expert injectors at Carolina Facial Plastics includes Heather Bryant, MPAS, PA-C, Amanda Piligian, PA-C, and Courtney Whitley, FNC-P. They are trained and ready to offer this long-lasting wrinkle reducer from Revance Therapeutics Inc. to patients concerned about expression lines on the upper portion of the face.
"We are thrilled to offer this new treatment option to our Charlotte patients. Our expert injectors look forward to providing patients superior results with longer-lasting improvements than our other wrinkle relaxers." - Jonathan Kulbersh, MD
Daxxify is the latest newcomer to the neuromodulator family, coming on the heels of popular treatments like Botox® Cosmetic and Dysport. Offering similar, but longer-lasting results than these other products, Daxxify is sure to find its place as one of the most requested treatments by patients looking for ways to turn back the clock without surgery.
Daxxify contains daxibotulinumtoxinA-lanm, the first neuromodulator to be created with Peptide Exchange Technology. This unique formulation offers an unsurpassed duration over other products in this category. While neuromodulators like Botox and Dysport last approximately 3-4 months, Daxxify's results can extend 6-9 months.
The FDA approved Daxxify in September 2022 for the temporary treatment of moderate to severe frown lines, which are the vertical lines that form between the eyebrows above the nasal bridge. These creases are also referred to as glabellar lines or the 11s. Daxxify reduces their appearance by targeting the facial muscles that contribute to their formation. By relaxing the muscle, lines smooth away when you make expressions like smiling or squinting.
