The Parent Help Center today announced that customers looking to register their children for Behavioral Camp must do so by May 30th. Camp can be purchased by visiting https://theparenthelpcenter.com/services-offered/summer-success-camp/.
The Parent Help Center has created a camp that’s tough, so that kids will appreciate what they have, and appreciate their parents when they return home. At this camp, children will learn that life isn’t always fair and that they’ll have to work for what they want. Fun activities are determined by the child’s behavior. When campers follow the rules they reap the benefits.
Glenn Ellison, Founder and CEO at The Parent Help Center, when asked about Summer Success Camp said:
“Teens and children in our behavioral summer camp will learn skills and challenge themselves by moving through levels of proficiency. The growth they experience and increased responsibility builds self-esteem and self-confidence, which the adolescent takes home with them. Here we allow the child to learn the consequences of negative behaviors and to adjust accordingly. Our Summer Behavioral Camp can start a firm foundation on which to build more positive behaviors back at home.”
Consumers active in the Family/Parenting Help market will be interested to know Summer Success Camp was developed with Parenting in mind.
For example, camp features responsibility, self-examination, respect, work ethic, and anger management. Campers will also learn positive skills to help troubled, or behaviorally challenged children better perform in school, with peers, and family members. Glenn Ellison said “This was important because this is the only behavioral summer camp that works with both the child AND parent to create sustainable and long term change. This is accomplished by creating a unique environment for the campers that removes many of the distractions of the world, in order to focus on self improvement. This will be great news for our parents because throughout Camp, staff model’s three core components of the curriculum which are respect, anger management, and a strong work ethic. These, in addition to other techniques, are discussed with Parents during the Online Empowered Parent Conference, which has been the basis for how to change unwanted behaviors for over two decades. During the four weeks of Summer Camp, parents become trained on how to implement these proven techniques at home, while staff addresses the unwanted behaviors in their child. This is followed up with live weekly support sessions to ensure success and restore peace back into the family environment.”
Summer Success Camp will also provide a structured, highly supervised environment which enables children to safely explore their emotions, build self-confidence, and reach their potential to become leaders. Within this structured environment, children are taught that for every decision they make in life, there will be either a positive or negative consequence.
The main aim has always been to provide lasting change and support for hurting families. This camp provides parents a fresh new perspective, and one where each family feels supported, and has hope for their children’s future.
