The announcement details the advanced specifications of these premium machines, many of which are available at reduced rates. Customers can visit the Discount Electronics store at 4005 West Parmer Lane in Austin which is open seven days a week. The laptops are ideal for a range of applications from home use to schools or businesses.
As brands release newer versions of popular models, the used pre-owned laptop market represents an economical way for consumers to own a top-of-the-range machine without having to pay a premium for the privilege. Enthusiasts will often sell a laptop within a year or two to upgrade to the newest model, leaving high-spec models available at reasonable rates on the used market.
Among the updated inventory is the Dell XPS 13 9370. This slim 13.3-inch laptop is lightweight and easy to transport and features the Infinity Edge touchscreen display with a backlit keyboard. It comes with 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB NVMe solid-state drive. Windows 10 Pro is pre-loaded but the machine is also compatible with Windows 11. There are minor cosmetic blemishes on the lid but this has no discernible effect on the device's operation.
For Apple fans, a MacBook Pro with a 15-inch screen from 2017 is available at just $919. This laptop is powered by a fast Intel Core i7 3.1 Ghz processor and 16 GB of RAM and comes with four Thunderbolt 3 ports, an LED-backlit retina display, 1 TB of onboard flash storage, and 2880 x 1800p resolution.
In addition to its laptop range, Discount Electronics also offers pre-owned desktop machines, tablets, monitors, and spare parts.
A spokesperson says, “Every Laptop and PC we sell includes a one-year warranty. Discount Electronics has been open since 1997, has a BBB A+ Rating, and has been on the Inc 5000 list of Fastest Growing Companies in the US 7 years in a row.”
