CBD oil is extracted from the cannabis plant called hemp and has various medicinal purposes. The cannabis plant that they use is different from the marijuana that farmers have been selectively breeding to optimize the amount of tetrahydrocannabinol or THC. THC is the psychoactive compound that causes the “high” that is experienced by those who use recreational marijuana. CBD and THC have different effects on the users.

They also offer a Broad Spectrum Soft Gel with each soft gel containing carbon dioxide extracted concentrated CBD oil from agricultural hemp. It is also ensured to contain 25 mg of CBD and it has also been ensured not to include THC.

The FDA had only recently given its approval for the prescribed application of CBD oil for the treatment of two types of epilepsy. Several kinds of cannabinoids are found in the cannabis plant. These can have an impact on the body by attaching to cannabinoid receptors, which are the CB1 and CB2 receptors. It has been observed that these receptors may be involved in how the brain controls certain functions. However, the CBD oil does not really attach to these two receptors. Instead, it causes the body to use the natural cannabinoids that it actually produces.
