'FundHK' crowdfunding website not associated with RTHK
Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) said on Friday it has no ties with a crowdfunding website operating under the name “FundHK” that used the acronym “RTHK” in its promotional materials and claimed that “RTHK” is one of its “media and institutional partners”. "RTHK hereby clarifies that it has no affiliation, partnership, collaboration, authorisation, endorsement, or any other form of relationship whatsoever with FundHK or its operating entity," an RTHK statement said. The broadcaster said any representation suggesting otherwise is unauthorised and does not reflect the position of RTHK. It said members of the public who suspect fraud or become aware of any potentially unlawful activities are advised to report the matter to police immediately and seek appropriate assistance.
